Second, as a member of society, State-imposed falsehoods do affect you. Marriage is a certain thing with a certain nature and definition. When the State mandates that the thing is something other than what it is, and has a purpose other than its actual purpose, you are now living under a tyranny of confusion.

The Narrowing of Language: ‘Discrimination’
We all, in fact, discriminate because that is the essence of freedom and conscience. If we simply believe what the state dictates, then we are drones without any spark of life or reason. When people worry about “discrimination,” what they really mean is the unequal treatment of blacks and, to a lesser extent, women and Jews. But when the state extends “protection” to groups who no longer need protection, that creates simmering anger at those who are the notional “discriminators.”
Discrimination is a right. You have a right to choose, which means you’ve discriminated against what you didn’t choose.
Animal’s Daily Involuntary Servitude News
There’s a word for involuntary servitude encoded in law, Mr. O’Rourke, and it ain’t a pretty one.
O’Rourke, who currently represents the 16th District of Texas, which includes El Paso, held a town hall in Corsicana on Thursday and shared his idea with those in attendance.
O’Rourke’s idea would require “every young person,” regardless of their socioeconomic background, to serve their country in some way whether that be in military service, a medical unit, a teaching unit etc.
The only time I would consider bringing back the draft, and that’s what this is, would be if the US of A were invaded. Otherwise this is just as bad as requiring high school students to complete ‘community service’ in order to graduate. Mandatory ‘community service’ is slavery and is outlawed under the 13th Amendment:
Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

Seems an awful lot of elected officials have no clue about the Constitution they are sworn to uphold. But we knew that.
If the Law Is This Complicated, Why Shouldn’t Ignorance Be an Excuse?
Moreover, as noted, the increasing criminalization of morally blameless conduct makes the punishment of innocent mistakes even more likely. For example, federal law makes it illegal to possess the feather of any native migratory bird even if one just picks it up off the ground, and the potential penalties for doing so include fines and even time in prison. Think federal prosecutors would exercise their discretion to prevent miscarriages of justice under such obscure laws? Think again.

First, Government is Force. By that I mean that every act of government is backed by men with guns. So the most benign act of government, such as Medicare’s free hospice care, is backed by force. You are forced to pay for it, and when grandma is at end-of-life she is forcibly subject to its protocols. And then there is the tax-collecting side of things, with the noble and virtuous IRS collecting $3.5 trillion from Americans in FY 2017 by force.
And when government uses force, there is a real danger that some people may experience it as injustice.

And the more they did it, the more they couldn’t afford not to do it. Abuse of power locks you into the loop familiar to all dictators. You can’t stop riding the tiger. Once you start, you can’t afford to stop.

This ‘school official’ is human excrement. I AM qualified to teach anyone anything I know. This includes home schooling my kids, or any kids, through high school. I am a high school graduate. If you aren’t qualified to teach what you know, then your high school diploma is worthless and you should sue your school district.
