The Tennessee Tragedy

As a person of faith, I believe that yesterday’s school shooting in Tennessee was not only an act of evil in itself:  it was also the inevitable result of allowing inaccurate, untrue, deviant perspectives and “woke” opinions to deny and defy reality.  If one does that for long enough, eventually (I believe) one becomes mentally, spiritually and morally divorced from reality . . . with the result we saw yesterday.

I do care what goes on behind closed doors

Well said.

Well excuse me very much, but I do care what goes on behind closed doors. I do care about the morals of a nation. Because behind closed doors are the families and the family has to be a place of refuge and stability for children. Today we are in the truly awful situation where children are given to homosexuals to live with them in their own houses as “families”. Behind closed doors.

Well, that’s where all of these problems began. And now we have a very big faggot problem, made manifest in our midst. And we are entirely to blame because we put up with them. We condoned their behavior, however tacitly, and as a result we get homo fag mayonnaise. Well, isn’t that just lovely.

Why Woke Organizations All Sound the Same | City Journal

It’s Stone Age magical thinking:

Based on his study of a Stone Age culture in New Guinea, Bronisław Malinowski argued that when people face uncertainty, they turn to magic to propitiate the capricious spirits responsible for their incomprehensible misfortune. Being ever-so-sophisticated people who attended business school, corporate executives don’t hire shamans to replenish fisheries or to avoid a storm. Instead, they bring in consultants to help the firm embrace best practices. But as Charles Fain Lehman explains, John Meyer and Brian Rowan’s 1977 paper in the American Journal of Sociology, “Institutionalized Organizations: Formal Structure as Myth and Ceremony,” argues that this distinction is a farce—that much behavior as practiced by modern corporations, NGOs, and government agencies is not about technical efficacy that rationally orients means to ends but ritual, vaguely intended to elicit good fortune by achieving legitimacy with the firm’s “environment.”
So “wokeism” is the new Stone Age “magical thinking.” I’m reminded of a quote from Walden by Henry David Thoreau:
“The head monkey at Paris puts on a traveler’s cap, and all the monkeys in America do the same.”
He was talking about clothing fashions but it works for social fashions too. Just substitute ‘government’ for Paris and ‘corporations’ for America.

Nothing Can Placate the BLM Riot Mob, and ‘Journalists’ Are Part of the Mob

“Just so everybody is clear, I was front and center at the protest, at the riot,” Brooklyn, Minnesota, Police Chief Tim Gannon told reporters during a press conference Monday. His response came to a question from reporters about why he authorized the use of gas canisters following the issuance of a dispersal order.

In the video tweeted by the Washington Examiner Monday, one reporter exclaims, “There was no riot.” Another shouts “Don’t do that!” Multiple other reporters joined in with those objecting to the word “riot.”

I’m old enough to remember when the news was disseminated by people called news reporters. As you might expect, they reported on what actually happened. As Sgt. Friday would say, ‘just the facts.’

Nowadays instead of news reporters we have this social construct called a ‘journalist.’ A ‘journalist’ tells a story. Stories are fiction. Reality is called ‘news’ and ‘history.’ If reality goes against the storyline a ‘journalist’ will follow the storyline and lie to your face, as we see here.

This is why the media are called ‘fake news.’

St. Louis Elects Its First bLack Woman as Mayor: ‘I’m Ready to Get to Work’

Tishaura Jones will also be the first single mother to be the city’s leader

A woman who is a failure in her personal life has just been elected as “the first bLack woman as mayor of St. Louis.”

“St. Louis Public Radio repots that Jones will also be the first single mother to become mayor.”

See? Failure in her own life and the little racist thinks she can run a major city? Did I mention she’s a Democrat? Here’s her platform:

“I will not stay silent when I spot racism,” Jones, 49, said during her speech, delivered at the city’s Omega Center. “I will not stay silent when I spot homophobia or transphobia. I will not stay silent when I spot xenophobia. I will not stay silent when I spot religious intolerance. I will not stay silent when I spot any injustice.”

This is why Democrat-run cities look like Third-world countries. They are run by mentally ill failures looking for boogiemen like ‘racism’ and ‘transphobia’ instead of maintaining the city’s infrastructure and finances.

St. Louis is a threat to Missouri.
