Self-Loathing As Medicine

White identity, well, that’s the worst and that’s why these lectures against identity politics never happen in front of non-whites. David French does not spend his days going to colleges demanding they junk their black studies departments. The boys at various Koch Brothers rackets are not going to the grievance studies departments, holding seminars on the dangers of identity politics. Instead, rants against identity politics are only aimed at white audiences, because white identity is what they fear.

Hmmm. Interesting take on the subject. The way identity politics is played means they should fear white identity. They are creating it!

Democrat Congresswoman Secretly Sending Staff To Mexico To Coach Migrants How To Beat System, Report Says

The face of treason: Democrat Rep. Veronica Escobar (TX)

Mark H. Metcalf, a former federal immigration judge, told the Examiner that a criminal case could be brought against Escobar if she is found to be involved in the alleged scheme, which amounts to fraud and making false statements to U.S. officials.

Fraud? Hell no! This is aiding and abetting foreign criminals to break U.S. laws. It is giving aid and comfort to hostile invaders.

It is treason.

She, and her staff, should hang.

Slavery Reparations for Millionaires

Who exactly deserves reparations here?

“Whiteness confers knowable, quantifiable privileges,” Coates ranted in a defense of reparations.

What then is the sources of Ta-Nehisi Coates’ known and quantifiable privileges, of turning down a New York Times column while getting paid by The Atlantic to blog about comic books?

How does the underprivileged Coates get to be a visiting professor at MIT despite not having a degree?

I think ALL REGISTERED DEMOCRATS should pay reparations. Democrats started a civil war to defend their ‘white privilege’ to own black slaves. Democrats started Jim Crow to defend their ‘white privilege’ to keep freed black slaves as second-class citizens.

Slavery is the only ‘white privilege’ Democrats recognize.

The left’s descent into the abyss of odium

We are in fact a divided nation, the mature and immature, the civil and uncivil, the decent and the indecent.  We are divided between those who love this country and those who hate it.  Our leftists are Marxist globalists who want to see America destroyed or at least transformed from the inside, as Khrushchev predicted fifty years ago that it would be.  The Marxists have won in academe.  They have won over the Democratic Party completely.  Pelosi, Schumer, et al. are on board with flooding the U.S. with illiterate migrants, numbers of them criminals, to satisfy their anti-American ideology.  They and their agenda should be shunned by all Americans with a modicum of common sense.

This has held up well!

Illegal aliens are not ‘fine’ or ‘great’ people

FGP would learn the language and the laws and apply for immigration before leaving their countries of origin, and they would not come if denied.  They wouldn’t act as if they had a right to be here after crossing the border illegally.  They wouldn’t treat the sidewalks like bathrooms and break into unguarded homes and businesses.

Obvious to anyone but Democrats.

Intellectual Poverty on the Left | The American Spectator | Politics is too important to be taken seriously.

Liberalism is fundamentally about feelings rather than thoughts. Also the left focuses on intentions, the right focuses on results and the ways by which results are achieved.

An advantage of making intentions your goal is that once you choose and announce them, you’re done. No need to follow up to see if your intentions were realized. No need to consider second or third order effects.

Leftism is about force, conservatism is about freedom and voluntary exchange. The use of force needs no theory or ideology. Anyone willing to rely on force to accomplish his or her objectives doesn’t really need to understand how the world works.

The So-Called Equality Act: Making Some Americans More Equal than Others

Every totalitarian system has used the tactic of coercing people to affirm the regime’s agenda, even when they disagree.  Forcing people to mouth politically correct dogmas that they know are false is designed to break their spirit and their resistance.  Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn said the worst aspect of Communist totalitarianism was not the economic poverty or the lack of political rights; it was being forced to repeat the regime’s lies: “The simple step of a courageous individual is not to take part in the lie.”

There is no evil that Democrats won’t support and force upon us.

‘Very Fine People on Both Sides’ | The American Spectator | Politics is too important to be taken seriously.

This is simply false. Trump’s comment about “very fine people on both sides” referred to the controversy over Lee’s statue, and not to anyone “spreading hate.” On the same day the rally happened, Trump made a public statement lamenting “the terrible events unfolding in Charlottesville, Virginia,” and condemning “in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence.” He continued: “It has no place in America. What is vital now is a swift restoration of law and order and the protection of innocent lives. No citizen should ever fear for their safety and security in our society.… I just got off the phone with the governor of Virginia, Terry McAuliffe, and we agree that the hate and the division must stop, and must stop right now.” Three days later, when Trump took questions at the White House, reporters repeatedly asked him for further comment. You can read the entire transcript of that press conference, and see that the president specified he was speaking of the Lee statue when he said there were “very fine people on both sides” of the dispute. Furthermore, Trump asked, if memorials to Lee and other Confederates were now subject to destruction, “I wonder, is it George Washington next week? And is it Thomas Jefferson the week after?”

Indeed, such controversies are not moot speculation: Radical students at Hofstra University insist that a statue of Jefferson be removed from their campus, and at George Washington University, campus activists assert that the “Colonials” nickname of the school’s sports teams is “extremely offensive” and “glorifies the act of systemic oppression.” What is apparent from such claims is, first of all, that America’s schools have failed to properly teach history, and second, that we are living in an era of frightening radicalism, in which ignorance and rage walk hand-in-hand. As tragedies like Charlottesville demonstrate, political polarization is dangerous. And as Joe Biden’s remarks demonstrate, there are unscrupulous politicians who seek selfish advantage from this polarization.

I didn’t see any ‘right-wingers’ at Charlottesville. I saw two flavors of leftists. Supposedly the ‘right’ was represented by neo-Nazis and white supremacists. Nazis, neo or otherwise, are socialists by definition. And ‘white supremacists’ are engaging in normal left-wing identity politics. A pox on both sides.
