American Progressives are the purest form of true believers, because they have disconnected their beliefs from practical considerations. Therefore, they are immune to facts and reason. When you examine the language they use to describe politics and the culture, you see the extreme mysticism. Obama does not even really know what “left behind” means, but he is sure it is a bad thing. For him, it is a purely a spiritual issue to be thought of in those terms. Practical considerations simply have no salience for him.

Progressivism, Liberalism, Socialism, whatever you want to call it, is a false religion.

The Only Racists In America

There are African-Americans, Mexican-Americans, Asian-Americans, Arab-Americans, Native-Americans, etc. And then there are just – Americans.

You have the United Negro College Fund, Hispanic History Month, Martin Luther King Day, Asian History Month, Black Entertainment Television, Black History Month, Cesar Chavez Day, Kwanzaa and the NAACP.

If we had WET (White Entertainment Television), we’d be called racists.

If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists.

If we had a White History Month, we’d be called racist for that.

The only racists I’ve ever met were liberal, hyphenated-Americans.

3. “Tax and budget policies that reduce disparities between rich and poor, strengthen democracy, and provide greater opportunity for everyone within the common good.”  Is this what Jesus taught?  Did He complain that the people under Roman rule needed a fairer tax code?

Any church that is a member of the NCC is a fake church. Ditto for the World Council of Churches.

They forget that individuals learn a great deal with little or no schooling. They forget that experience teaches, and that learning by any means is part of a lifelong educational process. Schools of all grades and kinds are only one group of means in the pursuit of education.

A much better question to ask is: Who is a generally educated human being? The negative answer is easy; certainly not any person who has just earned a diploma: a degree, or some other sort of certification.

If you do not feel like you are accomplishing your goals in life, of if you are always short on time, stop to analyze how much you are sitting around all day watching TV. This could be a major roadblock to your success.

I’m no fan of TV. Haven’t watched it in almost twenty years. Reading is much better, whether for news or entertainment. Or even education.
