Americans deserve an open and neutral internet. Consumers and businesses need access to an open internet, but so do elected officials, journalists, and anyone who cares about the way that our country is run and has an opinion about government, culture, and education.
Big Tech engaged in blatant election rigging and voter suppression in the 2020 election. And it’s marginalizing and suppressing the views of half the country from the marketplace of ideas.
Its front group laughably claims that it’s suppressing half the country in the name of free speech.

The left (and a lot of the right) elite are the most corrupt and incompetent buffoons since late Roman decadence. It’s probably inevitable when you have vast resources, a concentration of power, and a fawning news media/public opinion.
Everything about them, from their family lives to their business doings to their public and private behavior, when poked at exudes a stench that tells you their bios are like a demon’s resume. It’s filth layered on filth and given a veneer of normalcy that wouldn’t fool anyone who looked at it more than two seconds.

So, as the days get longer, and the sun comes out of it’s winter hibernation, take a ride down a country road and see the vacant houses, the barns falling down, the rows upon rows of corn and soy.
But, when you see that veggie stand on the side of the road, stop and buy something. Buy everything you can afford to locally.
Your dollar will have a greater impact when you buy anything directly from a local producer than switching to an organic item at a chain supermarket. Truly.
More and more farmers are finally starting to see the writing on the wall, and they’re trying to save themselves. They are returning to growing food instead of commodities, and more importantly they are marketing that food directly to customers, instead of selling it for pennies on the dollar to multinational packing and processing corporations.
Farmers are fiercely independent, and they are indoctrinated with the “pull-yourself-up by your bootstraps” mentality, but they can only partially save themselves. The consumer has to help save them.
Instead of Costco, spend your money at the farmer’s market. Or a buying club, or a co-op, or any farm. Buy your food direct from the farm as often as possible.

According to those developing the vaccine passports, they must be entirely unique, and not able to be hacked or tampered with, lest Americans engage in commerce without taking one of the controversial vaccines.
Catch that? “Lest Americans engage in commerce…?” Who do they think they are?

They aren’t all as evolved as the multi-billion dollar corporations you are used to, but most are competent technically and already have many users. Also, you may find that some of the platforms provide better functionality than the legacy media you are leaving.

Waiting For The Intolerable Acts – Bookworm Room
Lastly, a word on two incidents relating to the breach of the Capitol building. One is the death of Officer Brian D. Sicknick, something the left is using to demonize the people who breached the Capitol. Allegedly, the officer died because of injuries sustained during the “insurrection.” Fine, tell us what the injuries were and why he died from them. Every news story on this incident is less than forthcoming. And while I have great sympathy for the fallen officer and his family, I likewise get the sense that the public is being manipulated about this incident. My suspicion is that he died of a heart attack.
The second incident involves the murder of Ashli Babbitt, an unarmed woman and fourteen year Air Force veteran who was executed by someone inside the Capitol Building. Since when are we using live ammunition to quell riots in this nation? We should be demanding to know who fired this shot and what are all the surrounding circumstances. This woman should not be forgotten. Indeed, she should be made a martyr on par with Crispus Attucks.
