Why Sexual Morality May be Far More Important than You Ever Thought — Quest

Oxford social anthropologist J.D. Unwin discovered that when a highly developed culture undergoes an increase in sexual freedom, a collapse of that culture follows within three generations. The historical data reveals this pattern with “monotonous” regularity.

Here are a few of his most significant findings:

  1. Effect of sexual constraints: Increased sexual constraints, either pre or post-nuptial, always led to increased flourishing of a culture. Conversely, increased sexual freedom always led to the collapse of a culture three generations later.

  2. Single most influential factor: Surprisingly, the data revealed that the single most important correlation with the flourishing of a culture was whether pre-nuptial chastity was required or not. It had a very significant effect either way.

  3. Highest flourishing of culture: The most powerful combination was pre-nuptial chastity coupled with “absolute monogamy”. Rationalist cultures that retained this combination for at least three generations exceeded all other cultures in every area, including literature, art, science, furniture, architecture, engineering, and agriculture. Only three out of the eighty-six cultures studied ever attained this level.

  4. Effect of abandoning prenuptial chastity: When strict prenuptial chastity was no longer the norm, absolute monogamy, deism, and rational thinking also disappeared within three generations.

  5. Total sexual freedom: If total sexual freedom was embraced by a culture, that culture collapsed within three generations to the lowest state of flourishing — which Unwin describes as “inert” and at a “dead level of conception” and is characterized by people who have little interest in much else other than their own wants and needs. At this level, the culture is usually conquered or taken over by another culture with greater social energy.

  6. Time lag: If there is a change in sexual constraints, either increased or decreased restraints, the full effect of that change is not realized until the third generation.

Pope says Christians should never seek to convert unbelievers, anyone who proselytizes “is not a disciple of Jesus”

Anti-Christ in the Vatican

In a dialogue with Catholic high school students in Rome this weekend, Pope Francis responded to a question about how to deal with atheists and people of other faiths by saying that Christians should never proselytize — and any who do are not truly Christians.

  • “If someone says they are a disciple of Jesus and comes to you with proselytism, they are not a disciple of Jesus.”

  • “The Church does not grow by proselytism.”

Pretty sure it is supposed to grow that way. Has the Pope ever read the New Testament? One of the risen Christ’s last orders was…

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

German Bishops Pronounce Homosexuality ‘Normal’ and ‘Unchangeable’

Both the homosexual and heterosexual orientation “belong to the normal forms of a sexual predisposition that cannot and should not be changed by any specific socialization,” the Dec. 5 communiqué stated.

The bishops embraced the findings of a study group on sexual morality chaired by Berlin Archbishop Heiner Koch, which will form a starting point for the “Synodal Way of the Church” in Germany to rethink Catholic teachings and praxis for the present day.

I’ve said for years that the Catholic church has a homosexual problem—homosexuals infest its clergy—so of course they support this anti-Christian perversion.

Note that they are ‘rethinking’ Catholic teachings… not waiting for a new revelation from God… who they don’t believe in anyway.

This is why the punishment for homosexuality is so severe in the Scriptures. Any ‘tolerance’ of it leads to this.

Houston police chief calls out Cornyn, Cruz, McConnell in wake of cop’s shooting death

Houston police chief is an unAmerican, anti-Constitution @sshole.

“And who killed our sergeant? A boyfriend abusing his girlfriend,” Acevedo said. “So you’re either here for women and children and our daughters and our sisters and our aunts or you’re here for the NRA.”

I’m here as a lifetime NRA member who is flat against infringing on the natural, Constitutional rights of others because Acevedo is a failure as a police chief. He’s a crybully who obviously wasn’t there for his ‘women and children and daughters and sisters and aunts…’ Probably only there for the Democrats’ favorite constituency — hostile invaders (aka illegal immigrants).

College Course Teaches How to Design a Tabletop Roleplaying Game (this is part of the problem…)

A college professor is teaching the art of writing for a tabletop roleplaying game by using Call of Cthulhu and H.P. Lovecraft as the source.

And this is one of the things wrong with so-called ‘higher education.’ Why does a course like this exist at all? Why aren’t parents, alumni, and the government coming down hard on crap like this? What possible use could this be?

Enter professor T.R. Knight at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. He is teaching a class called the Tabletop Game Writing Lab. Its specific focus is teaching the art of designing a tabletop roleplaying game, more specifically, Call of Cthulhu.

The course focuses on teaching the fundamentals of writing an adventure module. From the outline of the adventure to designing art for the guide, by the end, students will publish their own story set within the Call of Cthulhu mythos.

Knight is working with members of the creative team at Chaosium to help during the class.

I have nothing against role-playing games. I spent quite a bit of time playing first edition D&D (and others) in high school in the early 70s. We didn’t need a college course to design our own adventures, campaigns, or games.

This doesn’t belong in ANY school curriculum. Not even grade school. These games were invented without any specialized education.

This is why I scoff at those ‘elites’ who brag about their ‘education’ at institutions of ‘higher’ learning.

Education? “You keep using that word. I don’t think it means what you think it means…”
