Just come to the JHS, then you go about your day without telling everyone about how ‘different’ and ‘special’ you are!”

The fall of the Western Roman Empire used to be thought of as a collapse of civilization, leaving a great void into which swarmed barbarians. Out of the rubble, the people of Europe slowly rebuilt civilization into what we think of as the Middle Ages. The reality is the fall of Rome was a process. Roman rule was replaced by something else, something local and indigenous.

Every language is either a sound-language such as English or a picture-language such as Chinese. They are opposites. You cannot mix them without creating mental chaos. But what do you know? Our public schools insist on mixing them together. This is dogma in today’s K-12.
Most Americans have heard of “balanced literacy.” That’s jargon for mixing them together.
There is no reporting on what precipitated the razzing from students. How do they know she’s an atheist? Almost certainly because she told them. Many atheists use disparaging language to describe the religious beliefs of others, and it wouldn’t surprise me a bit if that were the case here.

Fun Fact: Firing from the hip or waving the muzzle wildly from side to side while emptying a magazine—which looks dramatic and macho in movies–is an excellent way to miss everything you’re trying to hit and hitting everything you’re not trying to hit. This is commonly known as “spray and pray.”
She hadn’t talked to her folks in two years, but that didn’t stop her from taking them to court and trying to legally force them to cough up a pile of dough for her expensive, completely voluntary out-of-state school fees.
If I were a guy, I’d stay clear of this snowflake. If this is what she did to the parents, the mind boggles at what she’d do to you.
